The verdict

Why it scored a 86

At $750 the Tesla Wall Connector is the cheapest route to a full 11.5 kW at home and the highest-rated unit here at 4.8 stars. Quality reads 92, reliability 93 and satisfaction 96, and output configures from 12A to 48A to suit whatever breaker the garage has. Two caveats matter: it is hardwired only, so an electrician and typically a 60A circuit are part of the price, and the connector is NACS, meaning a J1772 car needs an adapter or the Universal Wall Connector instead. Scheduling lives in the car rather than a rich app. Ideal for Tesla owners with install budget in hand.
