At $499 the Autel MaxiCharger AC Home is the highest-output unit in this group, a hardwired 50A charger pushing 12 kW with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet on board. Features and reliability both read 84 and 87, with quality at 78, and the cold-flexible 25 ft cable suits an unheated garage. The caveats are install and software: it is hardwired only and needs a dedicated 60A or larger circuit put in by an electrician, the app draws recurring complaints along with Wi-Fi drops, and the listing carries CSA rather than UL certification. Best for a household whose EV can actually accept more than 48A.
