The caveat is regulatory: DJI products without FCC clearance by December 23, 2025 are barred from new US import; the Action 6 was cleared, but there was no official US launch, stock is spotty, and official pricing has drifted from $379 to $416–436. Warranty is the softest at 55.

A 1/1.1-inch square sensor with a variable f/2.0 to f/4.0 aperture, 8K30 recording, 10-bit D-Log M and a 1,950 mAh battery make it a serious camera at $379. It ranks second of our ten action cameras, tied on score with the Osmo Action 5 Pro. One caveat: at the time of writing there is no official US launch.
