Should you buy the Echelon EX-15?
The Echelon EX-15 is Echelon's entry-level bike, and it is for the rider who wants live and on-demand classes at the lowest possible hardware cost. There is no screen; you clip a tablet to the mount and run the Echelon Fit app, which needs a Premier membership of roughly $40 a month. Thirty-two levels of silent magnetic resistance on a belt drive and an extra-large cushioned seat make it comfortable for casual riders. At $496.99 it undercuts the Schwinn IC4 by about $300, but the IC4 is the better bike unless you specifically want Echelon's classes.
