At $749.99, the Garmin Forerunner 970 is the top AMOLED running and triathlon watch in the line, bundling full-color maps, multi-band GPS, ECG, a flashlight, and calls into a 56-gram titanium-and-sapphire case. Features leads at 93 and Quality sits at 92, but Value drags at 62 because the new running economy metrics need a separate HRM 600 chest strap at about $170.
