The GE Profile Opal Mini is the entry point into GE's Opal line, built for someone who wants the Opal ice texture and cleaning design at the lowest price GE has ever offered. It ranks #3 of 10 nugget ice makers at $299 and launched in July 2026. You give up the side tank and the included filter that the Opal Mini Pro has. If app control matters, spend the extra $80 on the Pro, because reviewers cannot agree whether this model actually delivers it. If you want the most ice per dollar, the Euhomy 34 lb is cheaper still.

Where it earns its score

• Value leads the score. Value hits 84 because this is the cheapest GE Opal ever built, with the same 36 lb per day output as the Pro.
• Same cleaning design as the Pro. The flip-open front panel and Drain and Dry system are here, and it ships with a scoop and a 6-pack of descaler.

What to know first
