The verdict

Why it scored a 79

At $379, the Mini Pro is GE's newest and smallest Opal, adding a side tank, scale-inhibiting filter and full Wi-Fi control that push Features to a category-high 92. Warranty is the weak spot at 55: GE covers it for only 1 year, the line just launched in July 2026 with no reliability track record yet, and the older Opal generation it replaces is notorious for auger failures, mold in the water lines and late-night screeching. A strong buy on features, but proceed knowing GE's history isn't reassuring.
