The biggest hopper in the category at 32 cups and precise 1/8-cup portions make this the feeder for multi-day trips and weight-management diets, and it is designed and assembled in the USA, which is why Quality leads at 90. The problem is $299, two to four times what competitors cost and rarely discounted, for a dry-food-only unit whose backup battery is not included on the base SKU. There is no subscription; Warranty is the softest at 55 with 1 year included and a 3-year plan for $50 more.

At $299 it costs more than twice the PETLIBRO Granary 2, which is why value is its weakest area. It suits a multi-cat or large-dog home that wants the most robust hardware in the category.
