The successor to Petlibro's best-selling Granary, announced June 2026 and shipping since late July, adds a 1-gram scale that logs how much was dispensed and how much was left, plus a refill mode capped by a daily calorie limit, which is why Features leads at 92. It is dry food only, uses the same auger as gen 1 (cubed kibble over 9 mm can jam), and has little long-term reliability data yet. At $129.99 with no subscription, Warranty is the softest at 66 on 24-month coverage.

The PETLIBRO Granary 2 is the dry-food feeder for someone who wants to know, in grams, how much the cat or dog actually ate. A built-in scale logs what was dispensed against what was left, and a Smart Refill mode tops the bowl up to a target weight inside a daily calorie cap. It is a mid-range Wi-Fi feeder at $129.99 with no subscription. If you feed wet food, look at the PETLIBRO Polar or the Cat Mate C500 instead; this one is kibble only.
Where it earns its score
- The scale is the point. Accuracy to 1 gram means the app can tell you a pet is eating less before you would notice at the bowl, and it sends abnormal-eating alerts.
- Features score 92. Ten meals a day, Smart Refill, low-food sensor, dual-band Wi-Fi and a desiccant compartment, all without a monthly plan.
- Big hopper. About 21 cups, enough for a couple of weeks for one cat, with a stainless steel bowl.
