Real Relax PS6500 4D

Should you buy the Real Relax PS6500 4D?

The Real Relax PS6500 4D is Real Relax's step-up chair for someone who liked the idea of the Favor-06 but wants 4D rollers, voice control, graphene heat and a Thai stretch from the same budget-native brand. At $2,599.99 it ranks fifth in massage chairs, and it scrapes onto our buy line at 75. The Features score is the highest in the category. The Value score is not, because the Favor-06 does the basics for less than half the price.

Where it earns its score

• Highest Features score in the group. 88, on the strength of 27 auto programs, 13 techniques and soreness detection during the body scan.
• Graphene back heat and stretch. Graphene heating warms faster than conventional pads, and the Thai stretch program is included.
• Extras done properly. Bluetooth speakers with a white-noise mode, wireless phone charging and a backlit LCD.
• Compact for what it offers. 57.5 inches deep upright, the same footprint as the Favor-06 despite the extra features.

What to know first

• Value and Quality both score 64. The lowest pair in its factor breakdown; the price is high for faux leather and a budget-brand build.
• Thin track record. Only about 49 ratings when we scored it, so long-term reliability is unproven.
• Curbside delivery. It arrives at the curb and needs two people to move it inside.
• Warranty is 3-year limited. Adequate, not generous, at this price.
