At $299.99 it delivers 310 AW, a removable battery, five-stage HEPA filtration, and a full attachment set including a pet deshedding tool. If you need a self-emptying dock, look at the Samsung Bespoke AI Jet Lite; if you want a lower price, the Shark Stratos MultiFLEX is $100 less.

Where it earns its score

• Value is tied for its best factor at 88. You get more suction than a Dyson V15 Detect Plus for $220 less.
• 310 AW from a 150,000 rpm motor. The highest suction figure in our stick vacuum list, with an Auto mode that adjusts to what the sensor sees.
• Removable battery. The 8 x 3,000 mAh pack pops out, so a spare doubles runtime and a worn battery does not retire the vacuum.
• CelesTect dust reveal. Blue light on the multi-surface head shows fine dust on hard floors, the same idea as Dyson's laser head.

What to know first
