Why it scored a 80

Real GPS and LTE tracking in a 25-gram unit for $49.99 (often $24.50–34.99), and since Tractive absorbed Whistle's US customers when Whistle shut down in August 2025 it is the default cellular tracker. Features leads at 86, but a subscription is required at $108/yr Basic or $120/yr Premium with annual-only billing, so the hardware is the cheap part. Battery drops to about a day in LIVE mode, GPS drifts indoors, and it is bulky on cats under about 7 lb; Warranty is the softest at 66 on a 2-year term.
