ViperScore breakdown
Should you buy the Furbo 360° Dog Camera?
The Furbo 360° Dog Camera is the pet camera for a dog owner who wants to see the whole room, talk to the dog, and toss a treat, all without a subscription for the basics. It rotates a full 360 degrees, streams 1080p with 4x zoom, switches to night vision on its own, and pushes barking alerts to your phone. At $184.00 it is the most expensive camera we rank. If you do not need the treat tosser, the eufy Indoor Cam E30 costs a third as much and records in 4K.
Where it earns its score
- Reliability scores 88. The highest reliability mark in the category; the rotation motor and treat tosser hold up.
- Full 360 rotation. Pan across the whole room from the app rather than staring at one corner.
- Treat capacity. Holds more than 100 small treats, versus about 10 in the Furbo Mini 360°.
- Free basics. Live view, two-way audio, treat tossing and barking alerts work with no plan.
What to know first
- Nanny is extra. Smart alerts such as person or emergency detection require the Furbo Nanny subscription.
- 1080p, not 2K or 4K. The Furbo Mini 360° shoots 2K and the eufy E30 shoots 4K for less money.
- Price. $184.00 is double the Furbo Mini 360° and four times the Petcube Cam 360.
- Warranty is the weakest ViperScore factor. One year of coverage scores 55 on a premium-priced device.
Our verdict
The Furbo 360° Dog Camera scores 81, a Good Buy, and ranks #1 of 7 pet cameras on reliability and satisfaction. Buy it if the treat tosser is central to how you check in on the dog. If you mainly want to watch and talk, the eufy Indoor Cam E30 at 80 and $59.99 is the smarter spend.
