The Signature Edition scores 84 and ranks #2 in our E-Readers category because it is the same excellent 7-inch Paperwhite with three useful extras: an auto-adjusting front light, wireless charging and 32GB instead of 16GB. It also ships without lockscreen ads. Features reach 90, quality 90 and satisfaction 92 across 13,001 ratings. Value is the drag at 80. At $249.99 it costs $50 more than the Kindle Paperwhite (2024), and the wireless charging dock is sold separately. For heavy readers the extras are pleasant, but none of them changes how a page looks.
