The Calphalon Premier 11-Pc is a traditional hard-anodized PTFE nonstick set with a 12 inch fry pan, stainless handles and a 10-year warranty, and it would be a reasonable pick for a gas or electric kitchen if the coating held up. No. The hard-anodized aluminum base is not magnetic, so this set only works on gas, electric and glass cooktops.
Is Calphalon Premier nonstick PFOA free?
It uses a PTFE-based MineralShield nonstick. PTFE cookware sold in the US has been made without PFOA for years, but it is not a ceramic or PFAS-free coating.
